La Palma is not only the most beautiful island of the Canaries, it is unique in many ways. For the UNESCO La Palma is next to Bora Bora and Jamaica the most beautiful island on our globe. With a subtropical mild climate all year round, the landscapes are an Eldorado for hikers and nature lovers. The water quality of the Atlantic Ocean is also exceptionally good here. The island's paradise beaches, which are often not easy to reach, are still very intact and rather untouched by the influences of civilization.

The special altitude of the Hacienda on the sunny northwest side of the island combines the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes, consisting of centuries-old mighty pine forests, vineyards and almond groves, deep ravines and dragon trees, as well as many other unique plants. All around, the ever-blue Atlantic Ocean shines and beckons in the light-filled sea of clouds. The clean air and starry nights over La Palma have led to the settlement of the world's largest observatories on 'Roque de los Muchachos'. The proximity to these facilities and the excellent conditions for stargazing directly on the hacienda are another feature of this location.

What makes our winery and our altitude on La Palma unique
- Absolutely alone and quiet location in the nature reserve far away from "banana tents", new buildings, main roads, etc. yet easily accessible infrastructure such as restaurant and shopping (in 5 minutes), towns such as Puntagorda or Las Tricias (in 20 minutes).
- One of the highest wineries in the world at 1,380m above sea level, with authentically grown structures as well as sustainable, ecological management and in-house agricultural products: For example, Hacienda wine, almond nut, olives and much more.
- Medically optimal altitude with unique light situations. Very good microclimate and protected from the wind, sunny position with south-west exposure in the vineyard. Mostly above the cloud cover of La Palma with over 300 days of sunshine per year.
In the middle of an interesting hiking area: Directly from Hacienda enjoy hiking in the vineyards and almond groves around Briestas. In 20 minutes by car to Las Tricias for guanche cave and dragon tree hiking or to the archaeological center and laurel forest of La Zarza.
Ideal starting point to discover the scenic contrasts of the island: In 35 minutes by car to the highest mountain of the island, Roque de los Muchachos or to the Atlantic Ocean to the mysterious paradise beaches and natural rock swimming pools such as Lomada Grande, Calle Jonsito, Playa La Veta.
Very good conditions for stargazing directly on the hacienda or in 35 minutes to the observatories on Roque de los Muchachos (most important observatory in the northern hemisphere).
The smells and the silence highlight the unspoiled and the originality of nature. Discover the immediate surroundings and fall asleep happily under the most beautiful starry sky in Europe.
Directly from the Hacienda you can start hiking and enjoy impressive walks, hikes or mountain bike tours through the almond blossom landscape and the lush vineyards.
