The pool with a small kitchen and secluded sunbathing areas is one of the most beautifully situated pools on Isla Bonita. The area around the pool extends over several terraces on different levels with sea views. On the 70,000 square meter Hacienda La Palma there are six vacation accommodations whose guests share the pool.

The pool area offers a high degree of privacy. The rock gardens and plants as well as the heights and orientations of the terraces create areas that are protected from view.

El Mirador has an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen. A mooring with two sun loungers and a view of the Atlantic coast off Isla Bonita and the valley opposite. Another cozy, secluded seating area with sea views, vines and prickly pears. The accommodation is close to the parking lot and has a herb spiral.

The Panorama Suite El Mirador is ideal for romantic hours by the flickering fireplace. Home-grown wine and the view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window: enjoy the light and color spectacle of the setting sun off the west coast of La Palma.

El Mirador has a wood-burning stove with a flame behind glass. A small, well-equipped kitchenette. Fast Internet via radio relay and WLAN. German SAT TV, a sofa in front of the fireplace and a seat by the window for 2 people. The 1.60 meter bed in an alcove is comfortable. There is a window with a mosquito net here.

The Panorama Suite El Mirador is located next to the country house El Refugio. A casa with private access and outdoor areas. In the immediate vicinity of the vacation homes you will find starting points for hiking routes on the island of La Palma. Through the vineyards to Refugio El Pinar. The laurel forest and the visitor center with the Guanche caves in La Zarza. The famous dragon tree hike from Buraccas or the spectacular tour up the Roque des los Muchachos to the star observatories.

Below Las Tricias in the direction of Cueva de Agua is Calle Jonsito beach. In the summer months, the black lava sand beach typical of the Canary Islands can be seen here. But be careful! There can be really high waves here. We recommend talking to locals before visiting to see if a swimming trip is possible.

If you prefer a simpler route, head towards Los Llanos to Puerto de Tazacorte. Enjoy the particularly mild climate and calm waters here. A day at the beach and swimming is possible here all year round. An excursion can also be combined with a coastal drive towards Puerto Naos. Discover bathing spots such as the Charco Verde. Behind Puerto Naos lies the coastal town of El Remo with the most delicious fish restaurants on La Palma.

The journey from the airport to Hacienda La Palma takes us through the tunnel above El Paso. Continue via the Los Llanos bypass onto LP 1 to Tijaraffe and Puntagorda. At the service station in Puntagorda, take the LP 111 uphill. Alternatively, you can walk around the outside past Las Tricias and Briestas.

Don Pedro, the good spirit of the finca, naturally always arouses our guests’ desires and, as a charmer himself, he knows how to use his popularity to the full. Nevertheless, we must point out that our furry nose is also on the hunt for mice in the service of the finca and receives his food from the team 😉

We have WIFI in all our vacation homes, the internet connection is very stable and is provided by radio relay. The speed of over 20Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is sufficient for video conferencing and office use.

• The journey from the airport to Hacienda La Palma takes approx. 1.5 – 2 hours. There are good shopping opportunities along the way, e.g. in El Paso, Los Llanos or Puntagorda. We will be happy to provide you with further recommendations before your arrival.
• After leaving the well-maintained LP 111 road, access to the hacienda is via a steep concrete track for about 500 meters. The last 100 meters lead along a forest path. The navigation systems do not work properly in this region. Please use our directions and the video link we will provide you with after booking.
• We will be happy to help you book a suitable rental car. Regardless of where you book your vehicle: Please note that La Palma is a steep island. With sufficient horsepower and ground clearance, it is much more pleasant to drive. We recommend vehicles from 75-80 hp such as the Citroen Berlingo or FIAT Panda 4×4 from Monta Cars.
• The Hacienda is only suitable for younger children to a limited extent. There are steps and slopes due to the hillside location. We will be happy to advise you in advance so that you can decide whether it suits you.
• Please note that our vacation homes have a secluded location in the middle of the vineyard. Reachable from the parking lot via longer footpaths. We will be happy to help you with your luggage.
• Although our photos may be convey other impressions: We are not a ‘luxury vacation resort’, or a “luxury villa” but an organically run winery. We offer our guests well-equipped vacation homes and apartments.
• Since we are in the middle of nature, we have various beneficial insects such as bees, birds, ichneumon wasps or ground beetles, etc. We make sure that these do not get into the houses. If you have special allergies or similar, we ask you to check whether a vacation with us makes sense.
