The pool area extends over several terraces on different levels with sea views. There are six private fincas and vacation homes on the 70,000 square meter Hacienda La Palma. Our guests share the solar-heated pool.

The complex offers a high degree of privacy. The rock gardens and plants as well as the heights and orientations of the terraces create areas that are protected from view. The sun loungers are spread over the various terraces so that privacy is guaranteed even when using the pool at the same time.

The vacation home La Placita has an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen with 4 seats at the table. A sunbathing area with 2 sun loungers under the yucca palms and a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Barranco riverbed opposite.

There is also another outdoor seating area right next to the house with 2 comfortable and height-adjustable wicker recliners. Handmade cushions and seat cushions.

The finca includes an artistically designed dance and movement area with vertical rock gardens. A private Laurisilva forest, endemic plants and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue area. A spring with fresh mountain water and a herb garden are further details.

The south-west facing, windless vineyard at 1,380m above sea level. M. is mostly above the island’s cloud cover. It is located far above Puntagorda and belongs to the municipality of Villa de Garafia. The estate with sea views stretches over vineyard terraces and hills. The vacation home La Placita is situated far back in the vineyard and offers a secluded location and privacy. Please note that the path to the parking lot is one hundred meters further away than for the other accommodations.

Nevertheless, we must point out that our furry nose is also on the hunt for mice in the service of the finca and receives his food from the team 😉

He is also not allowed in the vacation homes, as we always have allergy sufferers visiting who want to spend their well-deserved vacation with us without red eyes.

We have WIFI in all our vacation homes, the internet connection is very stable and is provided by radio relay. The speed of over 20Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is sufficient for video conferencing and office use.

Your satisfaction is important to us. Here are some points you should consider before booking:

• The journey from Santa Cruz airport to Hacienda La Palma takes approx. 1.5 – 2 hours. There are good shopping opportunities along the way, e.g. in El Paso, Los Llanos or Puntagorda. We will be happy to provide you with further recommendations before your arrival.
• After leaving the well-maintained LP 111 road, access to the hacienda is via a steep concrete track for about 500 meters. The last 100 meters lead along a forest path. The navigation systems do not work properly in this region. Please use our directions and the video link that we will provide you with after booking.
• We will be happy to help you book a suitable rental car. Regardless of where you book your vehicle: Please note that La Palma is a steep island. With sufficient horsepower and ground clearance, it is much more pleasant to drive. We recommend vehicles from 75-80 hp such as the Citroen Berlingo or FIAT Panda 4×4 from Monta Cars.
• The Hacienda is only suitable for younger children to a limited extent. There are steps and slopes due to the hillside location. We will be happy to advise you in advance so that you can decide whether it suits you.
• Please note that our vacation homes have a secluded location in the middle of the vineyard. Reachable from the parking lot via longer footpaths. We will be happy to help you with your luggage.
• Although our photos may be convey other impressions: We are not a ‘luxury vacation resort’, or a “luxury villa” but an organically run winery. We offer our guests well-equipped vacation homes and apartments.
• As we are in the middle of nature, we have various beneficial insects such as bees, birds, ichneumon wasps or ground beetles, etc. We make sure that these do not get into the houses. If you have special allergies or similar, we ask you to check whether a vacation with us makes sense.
