The Hacienda’s pool with its own pool kitchen and secluded sunbathing areas is one of the most beautifully situated pools on the island. It is located about 150 meters from the Tiny House and is shared with the other guests of the winery.

The Tiny House Vogelnest has an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen with two seats. A sunbathing area with two sun loungers, sea view and view of the valley opposite. In addition, the Bird’s Nest has its own olive and wine terraces and direct access to the hiking trails through the fragrant pine forest.

The Tiny House Bird’s Nest is an old Canarian natural stone house. There is a bedroom with a cozy wood-burning stove and a dining table right by the window in the living area. The kitchenette is well equipped for two people. Fast internet via radio relay, German SAT TV and a 1.60m wide double bed with comfortable mattress.

Inside and outside there is a seat for two people with a sea view. The tasteful furnishings create space to relax and unwind. The north-west-facing property at 1,400 meters above sea level is mostly above the island’s cloud cover. The hacienda stretches across cultivated terraces, pine forests and wild nature. Garden furniture, sun loungers and the great outdoors invite you to relax. Enjoy the fascinating sound of silence, surrounded by centuries-old vines, almond trees and various fruit trees in this unique place.

Tiny Houses that are not on a campsite or on wheels offer the best conditions for peace and privacy. The Tiny House Bird’s Nest is secluded in the middle of nature on a separate plot of land. There is only one other stone house nearby which the landlord uses temporarily as an office and storage room. The Bird’s Nest is located above and has its own terraces and cozy seating areas. This ensures peace and privacy even when the bird’s nest and office are used at the same time.

Don Pedro, the good spirit of the finca, naturally always arouses our guests’ desires and, as a charmer himself, he knows how to use his popularity to the full. Nevertheless, we must point out that our furry nose is also on the hunt for mice in the service of the finca and receives his food from the team 😉

He is also not allowed in the vacation homes, as we always have allergy sufferers visiting who want to spend their well-deserved vacation with us without red eyes.

We have WIFI in all our vacation homes, the internet connection is very stable and is provided by radio relay. The speed of over 20Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is sufficient for video conferencing and office use.

The journey from Santa Cruz airport to Hacienda La Palma takes around 1.5 – 2 hours. There are shopping opportunities along the way, for example in El Paso, Los Llanos or Puntagorda. We will be happy to provide you with recommendations before your arrival. The navigation systems do not work properly in this region.

We will be happy to recommend a suitable rental car for you. Regardless of where you book your vehicle: Please note that La Palma is a steep island. After leaving the well-maintained LP 111 road, access to the hacienda is via a steep concrete track for about 500 meters. Another 500 meters lead over a forest path that is bumpy in places. Hire a suitable vehicle for this. With sufficient horsepower and ground clearance, it is much more pleasant to drive. We recommend vehicles from 75-80 hp. For 2023, for example, the Citroen Berlingo or FIAT-Panda 4×4 from Monta Cars. New models are coming for 2024.

The Hacienda is only suitable for younger children to a limited extent. There are steps and slopes due to the hillside location. We will be happy to advise you in advance so that you can decide whether it suits you.

In the morning, it takes a while for the Tiny House to get direct sunlight. In the evening, the sun stays all the longer here at the highest point on the vineyard.

Please note that our Tiny Houses have a secluded location in the middle of the vineyard. Reachable from the parking lot via longer footpaths. We will be happy to help you with your luggage.

Although our photos may give you a different impression: We are not a ‘luxury vacation resort’ but an organically run winery. We offer our guests well-equipped tiny houses, fincas and vacation homes.

As we are in the middle of nature, we have beneficial insects. For example bees, birds, ichneumon wasps or ground beetles and others. We make sure that these do not get into the houses. If you have special allergies or similar, we ask you to check whether a vacation with us makes sense.
